Day 1 - Arrival Cairo

Arrival in the Land of the Pharaohs.
Upon disemabrkation at Cairo International airport, you will be welcomed by our representative, assisted with passport and customs formalities, and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 - Cairo, Old Cairo, The Pyramids

Your full day privately guided tour starts with a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities which includes the world’s largest collection of Pharaonic artifacts and the treasures of Tutankhamen’s tomb. Then drive to Old Cairo to visit Al Moallaka Church (Hanging Church) and Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Stop for lunch at Khan el Khalili restaurant at the historical Mena House hotel, across from the Pyramids at Giza.

In the afternoon visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx, then proceed to Khan El Khalili, the world’s largest 13th century covered oriental bazaar.

Overnight in Cairo at same hotel. (B/L)

Day 3 - Cairo, Aswan (Nile Cruise) Kom Ombo, Edfu

Morning flight to Aswan.

Upon arrival you will be escorted to your cruise ship where you will spend the next 4 days & 3 nights cruising the Nile in comfort.

Accommodation aboard your cruise ship will consist of outside jcabins with private facilities.

You will start with a visit to the High Dam, the Granite Quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae; view of Kitchner's Island botanical garden and the Agha Khan Mausoleum by felucca.

After lunch, sail to Kom Ombo where you will visit the Ptolemaic Temple of Sobek & Haroeries. Then sail to Edfu. (B/L/D)

Day 4 - Edfu & Luxor

Travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, the falcon-god, (237 B.C.) considered the best-preserved temple in Ancient Egypt and the second largest after the Temple of Karnak. Sail to Esna, passing through the Esna Lock, and continue sailing towards Luxor. (B/L/D)

Day 5 - Luxor

Visit the West Bank necropolis including the Valley of the Kings, the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Overnight in Luxor.(B/L/D)

Day 6 - Luxor, Cairo

After breakfast, visit Karnak and Luxor Temples, a centuries-old city of pylons, hypostyle halls, colossal statues, shrines and obelisks. Disembarkation and transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo you will be met and escorted to your hotel. (B)
